This proclamation of truth is not a prayer necessarily. The point of a proclamation is to let your spirit speak truth to your soul. Have you ever had a conversation in your own mind? It’s like the classic cartoon with the devil and the angel on the shoulders of the character telling two different points of view. Proclamations of truth strengthen our spirit and tell our soul what it needs to hear in order to walk in freedom. This breaks the chains of deception that the soul is prone to believe. We encourage you to write your own proclamation of truth.

Commissioning is one of the main aspects of the Spiritual Gym. It is a way for the group to come into “agreement” with a person’s God-given identity, testimony of healing, gifts, talents, and calling in life. Commissioning is a way to celebrate what God has done in someone’s life. It also provides a clear point of release into the “next step” for that person as a “Hope Bringer” or “Marketplace Minister.”

Session 9 – The Redemptive Gifts in Business

Each of the Redemptive Gifts comes with an ample supply of one or more spiritual qualities. This ample supply is given by the Holy Spirit and can be thought of as “free money” for the person with that Redemptive Gift. It comes so easily for them that they think “everyone should have what I have.” However, when the person is highly wounded or feeling defeated they exhibit the exact opposite of this “free money.” When you feel threatened, you may tend to protect your “earthly desire.” This protective response is rarely what is needed and usually causes more harm than good. However, with redemption and spiritual growth, God will flow through your spirit and your soul (mind, will and emotions) and your earthly desires can be surrendered to God through your spirit. This is how to walk in Godly authority.

There are primarily three ways God heals emotional wounds, traumas and ungodly inner vows of self-protection. One way is through reading and meditating on scripture. Simply by praying and “hiding God’s word in your heart” as King David wrote, you can gain freedom and healing. Another way, is through friends and family who minister to you. It is as if the Holy Spirit is speaking through a loved one who helps you break free from a hurt or hindrance that holds you back from freedom and joy. The third way is through “inner healing ministry.”
